vBulletin is definitely good, but then again, it costs a whole lot of money. A similar forum software that is free and does the job well is a good choice for many.
hi there!
Will some one on the forum suggest me a suaitbale free forum software that allows me to create a userfriendly forum on which a user is able to look at all the different elements (posts, links, messages, replies etc) posted by and posted for the members, at once- with out scrolling down the column.
I am currently using Simple Machines, but am not too happy about the outerlook of the Forum created using this (which is monochromatic and the forum’s elements lack a visual relief which look very drab and hence fail to attract the vistors and sometimes the search is cumbersome). I am wondering as to how to rearrange these elements of the Forum either horizontally or in all directions so that, when the forum is opened, I would see all the available features at once.
Is there a way of rearranging the elements of my Forum, in a fashion similar to a snake & ladder game board or a picture pizzle, where in each cell of the game board or each piece of the picture puzzle represents an element of the forum. This would not only allow me a parallel search, without scrolling down the column (which is the usual method) but would also bring in an element of joyful participation. Another worry is to how to bring in visually attractive fontstyles in to the structure.
Can some one help me?
Thanks in advance!
